New Organisation Launch
Ellie May Digital was brought on board to support the full brand launch of Cairn Imaging Solutions, a new division of Cairn Research Ltd. Over the course of eight months, I worked closely with the team to develop a complete digital presence, from visual identity and website design to social media rollout and content strategy, helping position the company as a bold new player in the optical imaging space.

As a brand-new division of Cairn Research Ltd., Cairn Imaging Solutions needed to establish a strong digital presence entirely from scratch. With no existing branding, website, or online platforms in place, the challenge was to develop a cohesive identity that aligned with their parent company while clearly positioning them as a standalone specialist in the imaging space.
Alongside this, the business required a fast and professional launch to support upcoming events and conferences, including promotional content, marketing assets, and a live website, all within a short timeframe. The project needed to balance technical setup with creative development to ensure they could make a confident and credible entrance into the market.

Created a visual identity from scratch, including logo design, colour palette, and brand styling.

Designed and launched a new website to showcase products, services, and company values.

Launched social media pages and managed early growth with consistent, branded content.

Produced digital assets and promotional materials for events, product launches, and campaigns.

Edited a short introductory video to help communicate the brand’s launch in a clear and engaging way.

Configured Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, and Google My Business for performance tracking.
The launch of Cairn Imaging Solutions delivered a clear, professional digital presence for the new division. A modern, user-friendly website was built to support enquiries and showcase their advanced imaging solutions, helping position the brand confidently in a competitive scientific space.
Social media channels were launched and consistently managed, quickly building brand awareness and attracting a relevant audience through tailored, engaging content. Strong engagement across early posts helped establish credibility and drive interest from both new and existing contacts.
Branded graphics and campaign visuals were created for launches and events, while a launch video provided a clear and concise introduction to their offering. Together, these assets helped Cairn Imaging Solutions stand out within their niche, building early traction and laying the groundwork for future growth.
Note: This project concluded earlier than planned due to internal restructuring at Cairn Research. While Cairn Imaging Solutions is no longer active, the work carried out helped lay the foundation for a confident brand launch and a strong initial presence in the imaging space.
I edited together a short promotional video using self-recorded footage provided by the team, combined with carefully sourced royalty-free B-roll. The final cut was designed to introduce Cairn Imaging Solutions in a clear and engaging format for use across their digital platforms.
