Meraki Hair Studio is an independent salon based in Kent, offering a range of high-end colour, cut, and styling services. Known for their creative expertise and personalised approach, they wanted their digital presence to better reflect the quality and professionalism of their in-salon experience. Ellie May Digital was brought on board to deliver a full brand refresh, including a new website design, improved SEO, and a stronger, content-led approach to Instagram, to help elevate the business and support future growth.

While Meraki Hair Studio had an established reputation and a recognisable online presence, their website no longer reflected the level of service they were known for in the salon. The site needed a full redesign to improve usability, better showcase their premium offering, and support search visibility.
On social media, the goal was to enhance what was already working, maintaining their established aesthetic while adding more informative, engaging content around hair techniques and services to help drive discovery and build trust with potential clients.

The refreshed website gave Meraki Hair Studio a more modern, professional online presence that better reflected their high-end salon services. Improved layout and navigation created a smoother user experience, while ongoing SEO efforts helped boost visibility, with impressions and clicks steadily increasing month-on-month.
On Instagram, content adjustments led to stronger engagement and consistent growth in reach, with monthly account reach rising from around 1,000 to between 6,000–7,000 users. Notably, 93% of reach came from non-followers, highlighting the impact of more descriptive, service-led content in driving discovery and attracting new clients.
Together, these improvements have helped Meraki Hair Studio maintain a polished digital presence that complements their in-salon experience and supports their continued business growth. Looking ahead, we’re planning a summer videography session to capture the atmosphere of the salon and create a promotional video that brings their brand to life through engaging, story-led content.
